Classic Tanzania

Day 1 - Arrival / Arusha

Depending on your operational flight arrival at Arusha / Kilimajaro airport, meeting with the guide and transfer to your lodge near Arusha, overnight stay.

Day 2 - Manyara Park

Breakfast at the lodge / tented camp and departure for the Manyara park, day dedicated to the photo safari in the park and picnic lunch; in the late afternoon arrival at the lodge / tented camp near the park. Dinner and overnight stay.
The Manyara park has an area of ​​only 330 square kilometers, but it is one of the parks with the highest biodiversity in Tanzania. The lake covers about 200 square kilometers and its range varies according to the season. Inside the park you can see flamingos, hippos, whole colonies of baboons, giraffes, zebras and even the lions that live on trees, typical of this park.

Day 3 - Serengeti Park

Breakfast at the lodge / tented camp and departure for the Serengeti national park. Picnic lunch. On the road that crosses the area there will be the possibility of stopping for a visit to a Masai village (optional) and meeting with the population seen at their homes (boma), arriving at the park in the afternoon and the first afternoon game drive. At sunset, arrival at the lodge / tent camp chosen within the park, dinner and overnight stay.
The Serengeti National Park is one of the main tourist attractions of the country and is the most famous of the protected natural areas of East Africa, here you can see all the "big five": elephant, lion, leopard, rhino (black) and buffalo. The park was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1981 and it is estimated that it hosts 1.5 million wildebeests, 300,000 zebras, 150,000 gazelles, 3000 lions and 1360 elephants. Nowhere else in the world can one see such a concentration of herbivores. The type of vegetation characteristic of the Serengeti, the open savannah, facilitates sightings and it is for this reason that it is possible here for unparalleled game drives.

Day 4 - Serengeti

Breakfast at the lodge / tented camp, intra-day dedicated to game drives in the Serengeti park
Picnic lunch in the park, at sunset return to the lodge, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 - Ngorongoro

Breakfast at the lodge / tented camp and departure at dawn for a last photo game in the Sergenti park, at the end we will continue towards the Ngorongoro crater;
Upon arrival, go down to the caldera for the game drive, lunch will be a picnic inside the park. At sunset, exit the park and arrive at the selected lodge / tented camp, which can be directly on the slopes of the volcano with an incomparable scenic view on the caldera or in one of the lodges / tented camps adjacent to the park entrance. Dinner and overnight stay.
It is estimated that the formation of the crater dates back to about two million years ago and that it could have reached a height similar to that of Kilimanjaro, to then collapse towards the interior and give rise to the current conformation. The structure of the crater is circular, with about 20 kilometers in diameter. Even the climate differs in this place: while on the edge, which is about 2,200 meters high, the climate is cold and often foggy, inside the caldera the air is hot and dry and the vegetation changes rapidly depending on the season. The concentration of lions in the caldera has no equal in all of Africa, a photographic safari in the Ngrongoro is a unique and unrepeatable experience!

Day 6 - Ngorongoro - Tarangire

Breakfast at the lodge / tented camp and departure towards Tarangire park where it is expected to arrive around lunchtime, on the way to a guided walk in the town of Mto Wa Mbo (optional) with the possibility of seeing the daily life of a typical Tanzanian town; picnic lunch / restaurant and first afternoon game drive in the park.
Arrival at the lodge / tented camp in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay

Day 7 - Tarangire - Arusha

Breakfast at the lodge / tented camp, departure early in the morning for the last game drive in the Tarangire. Late morning exit from the park and departure towards Arusha; Picnic lunch or if you like in a restaurant and, based on your flight schedule, transfer to the airport.

For organizational reasons, the order of visits to the parks may undergo variations without altering their contents.
